Year of Training is a dynamic year of preparation for life and ministry. Otherwise known as YOT, Year of Training is summarized by one word, character! When we look at the ministry we see that it is the character of people that lets them down, not their gifting. Therefore, we focus on developing the character of the students, and not their gifts. The design of YOT is tailored to the group as well as the individual and therefore we do not run a ridged and recurring program that is repeated year by year. As the group changes each year, so do the requirements of the students and the group dynamics. These dynamics form a vital part in the character growth of the student. Ask yourself the question, “When you are under pressure, what comes out?” Romans 8:19 says, “For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God.” We desire to see mature, complete, whole sons and daughters of God sent to the nations. |
